Pigs in a Blanket

Pigs a Blanket

These pigs in a blanket are so easy, you'll wonder why you didn't think of them sooner. They require only three ingredients and minimal preparation. Don't let their simplicity fool you! These piggies are delicious. An old friend gave me this recipe, but multiple versions are available on the internet.

Pigs in a Blanket

Makes 40 piggies

Ingredients
Sliced cheese- any variety
1 package Mini-sausages
1/2 package (2 cans) of refrigerated biscuit dough

Begin by folding or cutting the cheese into 1/16ths. The pieces should be about ½ inch wide and ¾ inch long, or smaller. Trust me, a little cheese goes a long way!

Making the piggies!

Use your hands to flatten each piece of biscuit dough and then cut them into halves. Place cheese and sausage onto the dough halves. Then, roll the dough over the sausage and place the piggies seam side down onto the baking sheet.

Bake at 350 for 8-12 minutes. Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy!
